And believe it or not, that process has just started and it is called ‘Marketing Tutor' … I have discovered though, that many just download an item and leave it to rot away in their hard drives. However, what we are about to create will be the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth in respect to any type of online marketing.

List Building 101 …

Having a list is always beneficial, even if that list is small … And since I really want you to know this and implement it, I’m going to drop it right here …

I’ll try and make it as concise as possible.

Lounge Pants …

My List Building Method 1: Product Launches

This is my number 1 list building method, and there’s a reason.
It’s the best way to get the highest quality of subscribers.

Most probably, you are on my list because you either purchased one of my products OR you joined a list because of a free or reduced offer.

The good thing about getting a list through product launches is that you get serious people into the list, instead of just freebie seekers… (even freebie seekers are buyers eventually) … people who will be serious enough to pay for your products.

Now You’re Likely Asking …

How can I create and launch my own products so I can get a quality list from there?

Well, don’t worry; I’ll take my time and share that with you on another occasion.

My List Building Method 2: Riding On The Shoulders Of Giants

This method is also highly effective and easy; it also gets you high-quality subscribers.

To do this, you first need to find someone who shares the same market as you, and who may already has a number of subscribers. (the numbers do NOT matter)

Then, create a solid product (maybe a powerful case study, a tutorial, a template or even software) that their subscribers will love and even pay for.

Then, approach the potential partner and discuss with them that you have a quality gift which you’d want them to share with subscribers please (a please goes a long way and shows your integrity and manner).

Of course, they will be happy (not always), because it’s a way to create even more value for their subscribers (believe it or not, this is the greatest fear of most marketers and companies … maintaining value over time). BUT, make sure you have a quality product and that it is VERY relevant to his or her audience

Now, if they email their list about the gift, they will visit your offer and opt-in to get the gift or even make a purchase at reduced prices.

In the end, the partner is happy, subscribers are happy, and you will be happy too, having gotten new subscribers to your list.

My List Building Method 3: Leveraging Forums

We were doing this in the beginning, but have stepped down from it, as it takes a lot of time. But it sure works. In this method, you visit forums, social media groups and blogs where your target market converges and are active.

Become active there yourself, and give valuable contributions to discussions free of charge, especially as it pertains to your offer or service. In the end, you should be able to append the link to your opt-in page where they can get more information.

If you’ve been giving valuable contributions, then many will want to opt-in to get extra information or guidance. As I mentioned above, I do less of this these days, as it takes up a lot of time. But for someone on a low budget, it works very well indeed.

By the way, this method tends to work long term, as your contributions and links will remain on the forum, group or blog for many years, bringing in steady leads, maybe not many, but every lead at low budget costs is a massive bonus to your internet marketing business

My List Building Method 4:
Paid Ads

I do not use this often but it brings leads fast. But it costs a bucket of money too. You know what it’s about … paying Facebook and Google and a host of other platforms to send traffic to your opt-in page.

The subject of paid advertising is huge and can’t be covered in this email. So, I’ll leave it for another day.

I hope you enjoyed the information and I'll catch you soon

Email List Building with 73 Thriving Strategies in 2020

I want to quickly take you through all four email monetization strategies, because they’re worth knowing and you can achieve big wins with each one. Sell affiliate offers to your list. Sell advertising placement in your “newsletter”. Make your email newsletter a paid subscription. Sell your own product. Let’s start with the first email list building monetization strategy.

There’s no dancing around this fact: email list building is central to the success of an online business. Make it a priority. There is no wrong way to get email subscribers. But some methods are better than others. The best one for you is the one that works. When it comes to increasing the number of your subscribers, you aren’t short on options. Follow the strategies i’ve laid out in this post. If you implement them, you’ll start seeing an increase in your email list sign-ups almost immediately.

Email is a valuable marketing tool when used wisely. With new laws come new strategies for building a consent based lists that engages with your brand. With our knowledge of the law and crtc’s interpretations we can help develop cost-effective strategies for ongoing list building. While email is not a numbers game, we do want to constantly seek consent from individuals who are interested in our messages and want to be on our list. Or we can simply build lists – casl compliant of course – on your behalf.

Why is list building so important?

Why it's on the list: this is technically more than a back exercise—it hits the entire posterior chain from your calves to your upper traps—but it's the absolute best for overall backside development. Technique is uber-important with the deadlift, but once you nail it, you can progress to lifting monster weights that will recruit maximum muscle, release muscle-building hormones, and help you get big. There are also numerous deadlift progression programs you can follow to help you reach new personal bests. Physiologists love to prescribe the deadlift when programming for strength and conditioning because the exercise hammers your musculature and is one of the best choices to strengthen your bone structure.

If you’re new to list building and email marketing, look around and see which services will allow you to do these important activities: segmenting subscribers, tracking email marketing metrics, broadcasting emails, customizing email messages, and building automated funnels. No matter where you host your writing, chances are there will be some way for people to follow you. Your followers will be notified, in some way, when you’ve written something new. Maybe they’ll get an email. Maybe they’ll log into the platform and be able to see that you’ve posted. You don’t own this list. You can’t email your followers at this level. You can’t reach out to them independently. This is the bare minimum of list building. Followers are important — you definitely want them. But it’s nearly impossible to do any sort of marketing outside of writing a general post about whatever it is you want to market and hoping that your followers see it.

In our 4-part series, we talk about the top 73 list-building techniques to grow your mailing list in 2020. The first article of this series is all about growing your list through on-site popups.

Most bloggers and marketers write guest posts for link building. But if it’s done right, it can be one of the most effective ways to build an email list relevant to your business profile. With high-quality guest posting, you create thought leadership in your niche. People tend to follow your ideas, thoughts and experience you share online. While sharing knowledge and information on various top publications, you can turn their traffic towards your website. Proper call to action and email subscription forms can turn their readers to signup for your product, newsletter and many more resources you offer.

How to Build an Email List with Social Media

Email is the best way to connect with your audience. In fact, 72% of people prefer to receive promotional content through email over print media, social media, or even in-person conversations. But when it comes to growing your email list, most people don’t know where to start. And once they do get started, they struggle to build an audience of engaged subscribers. This course will give you a framework used by experts across the world to build their audiences 24/7.

So, you want to build an email list?
there’s all this hype right now about social media. And, why not?
social media can send you a ton of traffic. But what do smart business owners do with that traffic?
they turn it into an email list. Building an email list is still one of the smartest things you can do to start – and grow – your business. Here are the facts:
* 81% of us online shoppers are more likely to make additional purchases, either online or in a store, as a result of emails based on previous shopping behaviors and preferences..

Web popup forms can be very effective when you are trying to build an email list. For instance, in easysendy drip plan, you can create popup forms that can be embedded anywhere on your website in a click. There are over 200 templates that are responsive, optimized, and are customizable. These web pop up forms are quite useful when you want to capture your anonymous visitors and convert them into potential leads. On easysendy, the pop-up forms capture leads and automatically update your contact segments for further nurturing. Another amazing feature is the option to add social buttons. These social subscribe buttons speed-up the lead capturing process because your visitors don’t have to manually type in a form. At the same time, when they use social subscribe button, you get all their social information based on which you can create more targeted email nurturing drips.

15. List building with Facebook Groups

A few weeks ago I stumbled on a brilliant list building strategy using the untapped power of linkedin. Here’s what happened…
there’s this group on linkedin called the sports industry network:
like most linkedin groups, the sports industry network sends you a “welcome to the group” email after you join. Here’s the email that they sent to me:
as you can see, the group asks you to “confirm your membership” to access to exclusive content. And where does that link in the email lead to?
you guessed it:.

Founder of Socialmouths
“there are many reasons why building a list is important, but i’ll go with a topic that’s popular at the moment: reach. Today, you’re able to reach an average of 1-2% of your facebook fans, the same way a very small percentage of your twitter following sees one specific tweet. Email is not perfect either, according to studies, 22% of emails sent get lost in the junk or spam folders or are blocked by isps. But that still leaves you with an average of 78% messages delivered.

Maybe you’re big into facebook, but haven’t tapped into pinterest yet…or maybe you’ve been going all-in on guest blogging, and haven’t made a single podcast episode. Whatever the case may be, introducing your opt-in offers into new verticals that might not have heard of you before is key to finding new paths towards list-building success. Keep in mind that not all venues work for everyone; there’s a reason why i stopped my weekly video show and invested in other areas, instead.

19. Instagram helps you with list building

Rather than focusing on building a general newsletter list, build smaller topic-specific lists. Segmenting your subscribers based on their interests helps you send content they want vs. Content you hope they want. There’s a trend on blog posts to offer additional content and resources in exchange for an email address. The give-away acts as a lead magnet and creates an interest-based segment in your larger database. Now, you have better information about your subscriber about their specific interests and can follow up with more information that’s directly related to the topic. Examples include: offering a pdf version of your blog post; a printable checklist or worksheet that relates to the blog post; a list for people who only want to know when you publish a new podcast or video show.

Organizing a challenge is a powerful method of list building because of two main reasons. First, it has the potential of massively boosting the email list size when properly implemented. Second, it helps in creating a bond between the marketer and subscribers. Before running a challenge, one can survey the targeted audience to determine a major issue they face. The identified issue should be the basis for running the challenge. It should be a requirement for interested persons to join the email list before they can participate in the challenge.

Raise your hand if list building is on the top of your to-do list. Email marketing helps you build relationships, grow your community and drive traffic to your website again and again. It’s a non-negotiable for the modern marketer. And our industry friends agree: we asked 15 of them to share the number one list building tactic that helped them grow their own email list so you can start seeing success of your own.

22. The “Swipe Up” feature that helps you connect with more of the right people

The first thing I did was utilize my personal network to find the best partners I could sign on first. These were people i’d had on a previous summit or connected with through various networking groups. This was super important for those first few yes responses, and all it takes a bit of planning and perseverance. Above you can see some of the incredible list building school experts I featured on the summit. Note: you don’t have to be well-established or have relationships with influencers to host a successful virtual summit. Of course it helps, but with good summit idea and pitch you can go a long way (many of my vsm students had no relationships with influencers before they started and they did extremely well).

Who are you targeting? before you begin building an email list, it’s helpful to have an idea of who these people are.
